I've yet to see anything in 3D that's convinced me it's better with than without. And I've really tried. Also it gives me a headache when I wear contacts and 3D glasses on top of my normal glasses? Douchebag look. When they showed Haye-Harrison in my friendly Glasgow pub, I watched all eight minutes of it in 3D. While seeing Aud's startled eyes and the snot flying from his nose was quite dramatic in 3D, it just didn't increase my excitement. It did let me scope out some of the hot girls without fear of being caught however.
Watch the football on sky sports hd then switch it over to normal sky sports. You honestly, HONESTLY telling me there is no difference what so ever?!?! Your having a laugh. There is a huge difference. I'd say its the same difference between watching a film on vcr compared to watching a film on dvd. The difference in picture and sound quality is huge. Only mugs watch SD tv over HD. I could never ever go back to watching football on sd. I'm used to boxnation's shitty picture quality even though it spoils my enjoyment quite a lot actually. My hero manny pacquaio fought in hd on sky against clottey. I've never seen anything look more amazing then that.
3D TV's without glasses are coming soon but it will be a long time before they cover sport. I think 3D is **** but HD is deffinatley worthwhile.
What can you see in HD that you can't on a good HD tv on normal sky-sports...? Be specific with your answer.
It is obvious from your posts on this subject, that you have got completely no idea what you are talking about, so I would just shut up now and go a get yourself a HD subscription and a half decent HD tv.
Primadonna clearly has quite a small TV. Standard def on a small screen looks ok, but when those 720x576 pixels are spread over a screen of 42 inches or more then the difference between SD and HD is massive. Boxnation is a terrible picture (I mean lower quality than normal SD) on my TV.
We have 5 HD TV's in my house. You are trying to make out that its life changing..? what is so life changing about HD channels or whatever..? Abit more colour..? Lets face it, its ****. Its one of the most minimal technical advances in the history of my life. Like i stated before, when they create virtual TV, which can project itself into your living room like the hologram deck on Star Trek..? that's life changing. All this fuss over HD TV is pathetic.
You might have 5 HD tv's but if you haven't got a HD subscription of some sort you won't be getting HD pictures, also there is a difference in tesco special HD tv's and half decent ones.
Even if they are HDTV's they might not be Full HD rather a cheap panel which only produces a 720p resolution instead of a 1080p Full HD resolution?
Weren't we promised it in summer 2012! Better late then never as SD is truly dire. Lets see how they try to stick us with the cost.
