Trying to string along the debate by using such obviously different angled photographs shows the silliness of this thread ....

Why does Foreman always have to be the Big Guy? Yes, he was/is a large man, but so are a lot of other people, fighters and non-fighters included. Foreman seems to hold an almost mythical hold on a lot guys, whereby Foreman has to be the tallest, widest, stockiest, strongest, etc.

IF it were somehow proven that George Foreman was never more than 6'2", would that ruin your opinion of Big George? Would he no longer be "Big" George Foreman?

In his prime he was nearly 6'6" and 250 Lbs of fast moving muscle... or so it seemed to many of his opponents.

i am telling you the pure truth.. george foreman never was 6´2 it is a bull****... every sparring partner of him said that the guy was huge and the strongest guy that he faced in a ring, morrison said it.. and morrison had the back of a gorilla.... he was not exactly a fragile guy...he had wider shoulders than tyson...holyfield faced guys like bowe, lennox, tyson ...he was the sparring partner of tua and he said that foreman was the most powerful... foreman was close to 6´4 and yes, he was naturally builker than lennox. yes, if you ask me about primo carnera, valuev... yes they were bigger than foreman... and wider guys.. but they were not big, they were giants...

Not only were Carnera and Sugar "giants".
They also suffered from gigantism so they were true giants and Valuev was very sweet.

The fact that is even debated is a testament to the obsesion with height ans weight on this forum.

If Ali wasn't tall then being tall is obviously over-rated!

Lennox Lewis is very wide. So not only are we talking heights, but now we have to worry about shoulder width. I guess Foreman has to be at the top of every list.

Six foot three seems right. He's STILL tall, even old and hunched up.

George is huge. He seems like a healthy 6 '3", 6 '4", but his mass is significant.

No way Wlad is only 5 past. He's a bit taller than that. Vitali is taller, yes, but not by THAT much.

George seems to be hobbling around a bit in recent videos. I think he has knee problems.

I saw Vitali in person one time when I was working at LAX Airport; that guy is massive! Very imposing looking!
