I been watching boxing many years now. Froch thinks he is best pound for pound. I don't think so. PBF is the best.

Froch beat Kessler who is on slide and gettin old. Not same fighter that lost to Clazaghe. Calazaghe defeated Kessler in his prime.

Froch need to fight Ward and go to USA if needed. Even Bhop could beat him. Add that he is a cocky git and needs to control that.

Bute was a poor opponent. He wasn't that good. Taylor had moved up and Super not his weight nether was it it for Abraham. Carl fought well against him but again a smaller opponent.

I hope he fights ward and if he wins he can then say is ££ best fighter out there.

You may well be right, but the great thing about Froch is he will fight anyone that will fight him.
He wants Ward again, a fight that he will in my opinion lose. Calzaghe is guilty of not fighting top opponents, whereas Carl will fight anyone whenever.

Kessler would still beat Froch at 175.

Amen, bruv. Froch just fought MIKKEL KESSLER and might even fight BERNARD HOPKINS. Calzaghe would've ran away with his tail between his legs if those guys were around in his day.

What top opponents is Calzaghe guilty of not fighing? Lets not forget that Ward and Frochs best opponent is a faded fighter that Calzaghe beat when undefeated and prime

Yeah he's overrated but who isn't in Boxing, As for not as good as Calzaghe....I agree as much as I question his resume at times there is no denying Joe was a fantastic talent and IMO Calzaghe was and is the better Boxer.

could not have said better myself. Froch has clearly fought the better standard of fighters than calzaghe, infact look at calzaghes record up until kessler, ive always said that benn euban and froch beat every one of calzaghes opponents, probably even kessler , hopkins and lacy.....calzaghes best wins

ps: on a box recs site there is a fantasic comparison of who calzaghe fought and who froch fought, where they were rated and what opponents they should have fought

i dont think Froch is overated, i think he is a hell of a fighter, and will fight anyone, but in their primes i do think Calzaghe is better, but as another poster says Joe was guilty of not fighting the top opponents, but you can't say that about Froch.

Calzaghe was clearly the better boxer in terms of skills. But the Froch's grit, determination and will to compensate for the lesser boxing ability puts him ahead. His resume tells the truth of the story, definitely ranks higher than Calzaghe.

Lot of fighters were moving up in weight. On his own weight he fought ward and was schooled. Kessler on slide so not that good fighter now. He was put down in his last fight.
