Lennox has about 16 wins varying from A* to B class. He was undisputed number 1 and avenged all losses. Froch has 7 wins from A-B class. Carl has never been number 1/undisputed and still has a loss to avenge. Froch is top notch but Lewis fought better opposition over a longer time-frame which is seemingly Froch's major pluspoint.
In what universe was that a "tight" points decision loss to Ward? Also, Froch lost to Dirrell clearly, IMO. He's still an excellent champion though. Lewis was the undisputed champion in a strong division during an excellent era. There isn't as much of a gap between him and Froch as might automatically be assumed, but there is clearly a significant gap.
That's the same reason I went to Finland to watch Froch too...oh, that was well before Froch worked with Hearn. You have no valid points, mate. You just stumble into a thread and accuse people of being biased because you're incapable of debating. For me, the clear top four are Lewis, Fitzimmons, Wilde and Kid Lewis. Froch belongs in the next tier of fighters, alongside Buchanan, Calzaghe, Turpin etc..
Carl losing his marbles a bit there. Looks like the 11th round Kessler really took something out of Carl!
The problem is Froch's is getting all this adulation late on in his career .. and hes just getting a little carried away with it all .. He really does talk a load of rubbish at times ... but im fine with it tbh. Calzaghe must be itching to shut him up though .... maybe thats Froch's plan
Froch has said before that he really doesn't follow boxing much. He's just chatting **** here obviously.
How far back are we talking? Go check out Ken Buchanans resume, dont just look at the quality of fighters he faced, go check how many times in his whole career he fought at home. Froch is getting too much credit for something Buchanan done against better fighters back when there was 15 rounds. Im sick of having to put Kens name out there, some of you guys dont know anything before the early 90's :-(
If your British and a fan of boxing you should know what Buchanan did. He's one of the best we've ever produced and one of very few great fighters we've ever produced that the Americas rate, thats because he travelled and fought the best. Technically he was outstanding, and tough as nails. P4P/prime for prime he beats all the Brits from 80's till now bar Lewis. Buchanan beats, Naz, Ben, Eubank, Calzaghe, Hatton, Froch, etc etc
