Kessler's just never been able to time the right when both have been fencing. He's needed Froch to make big mistakes or had to take big risks with lunging in to land it far too often.

    Good upload, Flea.

Yong - Leopard is a nice little war.
Lots of action, good clash of styles.
    Really liked it.

You do know, of course, who's the only man ever to stop Yong?

I'll give you a hint: the left hand that drills intestines.

WTF? I guess Sandy Saddler wasn't available?

I haven't got to watch it yet (but will soon). Any backstory to why McGowen got in with a BIG bantamweight banger? Must have had a brave manager.

Tell me more. Who has this? Please. Information leading to me obtaining this footage will be returned with a rare fight no one knows I have.

Oh, I see. No chance of me getting to see that at all then.

He was chasing the Flyweight title but I think he was having trouble getting fights so he boxed bantams as well and didn't do too badly. He'd been stopped by Medel in his previous fight to this, that was brave management Joe was the no 1 contender with something like 80 fights behind him. Walter had about 20 and was a bit too keen to get involved when he was having success bit like Fighting Harada a couple of years earlier. This Jones fight really shows how good Walter was, he could throw every punch in the book and oh that footwork. Later on in his career he was fighting featherweight and he was still really a flyweight.
By the way, hope you enjoy it, it's my upload.

By "poor Walter" I'm referencing his tendency to cut. He looked fantastic prior to the stoppage.

Been watching a few Holmes fights and watched Spinks - Holmes. God damn what a performance by Spinks one of the most colourful and strangely effective fighters ever. A lot of moments in the fight that had you scratching your head or laughing your ass off like Spinks doing a complete 360 after missing a left hook or starting to get animated and screaming because his second ring side was distracting him by yelling. That said holy **** was a fight, Spinks was so raw throwing punches and bunches and taking the fight to the significantly bigger Holmes despite the fact he looks like he was going to collapse from exhaustion during the last third of the fight. Should be studying for exams but this fight was really too awesome to stop watching once you started.

There was a round in the rematch where Spinks looked like he was having a heart attack on his stool.

Stumbled upon Holyfield vs. Foreman today. Pretty entertaining fight, those guys can take a punch! Every now and then I start getting back into the HW division but then I watch some older stuff and realize that it aint the same.
