Right. It's not even a match. Rocky would walk through Calzaghe's shots and hammer him.

Joe's "craftiness" couldn't keep him away from the punches of a 43-year-old, low out put Hopkins and a shot to **** Roy Jones for one single round without getting dropped, never mind a relentless beast like Marciano for 12 or 15 rounds.

Marciano walks straight through Calzaghe and smashes him to pieces, brutally KOing him, I can't believe I'm even debating this.

Its just a fantasy matchup between a great LHW champ and a cruiserweight who was HW champ.

Marciano would have hunted Calz down and knocked him out.

No present 175lber could have beaten the Rock.

    This.

No one presently at 175lbs would see the final bell against the Rock.

Marciano would be aggressive and go for Calzaghe.

This tactic would make Marciano look like a ponderous ****** against Calzaghe.

To beat Calzaghe you have to counter-punch and get lucky enough to knock him out (think how Hopkins had a little success and how nobody ever has on the front foot against Calzaghe, ever)

Calzaghe would practically Lacy him. When you think about styles then it quickly becomes apparent this is a mismatch.

Calzaghe destroys any come forwards fighter in history between 160 - 180 pounds.

Joe Calzaghe would wish it was RJJ punching him.

    Rocky Suzie-Q's him in 3.

Shows how much you know about the sport, saying he'd Lacy Marciano.

Unlike Lacy, Marciano had exceptional stamina and workrate, he would punch non stop, he could take a brutal whooping and Calzaghe does not have the power to stop him anywhere in his tracks.

He'd maul Joe, and with Joe having been on ***** street and put over by old shot American fighters, an in prime monster puncher like Marciano would have him done in by three rounds.

Sakio Bika vs Marciano is a much more interesting matchup to discuss.

Bika certainly has a better chances of winning against Marciano than Marciano has against Calzaghe.

Neither have any chance. Zags was dropped by two old men who could come close to matching Marciano's power or work rate. Another thing being left out is Rocky's ability to cut off the ring. Joe simply has nothing to keep the Rock of him and would get brutally stopped.

Marciano couldn't stop 175 pound Ted Lowry 66 wins 66 loses. He isn't stopping Calzaghe who has only ever suffered flash knockdowns before instantly recovering when cold early on in fights.

Calzaghe would land at will on Marciano and easily has enough power to keep Marciano off him, just ask Roy Jones about how hard Calzaghe slaps.

You simply do NOT try and walk Calzaghe down, it is a silly idea in all honesty.

Obviously not hard since Calslappy could not knock out an ancient glass jawed RJJ.

Calzaghe deliberately carried Jones out of the respect he had for him.
