Meh,id have preferred it at 154.

I still prefer this to Floyd fighting at 147 against Alexander which was the other option.

    Stoked for this fight.

It's compromising the fight. Catch weight are always wrong but of course this forum is the land of the double standards. Canelo has some stamina issues and is going to have more and more problems making 154. Taking him to 152 is very calculated way of weakening him. I honestly think he should not have accepted the fight.

And whats the difference exactly? That despite the jump in weight Pac had EVERY advantage going into the fight? That not only was Oscar a complete shell of his former self but had to murder himself to get down to a weight he hadn't fought at in years? Yea, that is a pretty significant difference in comparison to THIS fight.

The kid is huge and Mayweather walks around at 152. If Canelo can't make 152 comfortably with this much notice in the biggest fight of his career, he ain't a professional.

I don't think the 2 pounds is a big deal but what would be funny is if Canelo weighs in at 154 and says I'll pay a fine ala Mayweather Marquez

Was he drained? Cotto didn't think so (said so after the fight). And we're talking about a career featherweight / post-flyweight fighting a big WW for the only the second time, after jumping up multi-weight divisions.

Floyd's been around WW for almost the past decade, and he's fought at the 154 limit twice for a belt each time. Now he needs a catchweight? Go figure. Oscar looked bigger then CAnelo. He didn't have a problem when Ortiz blew up to 165 either. This is Floyd showing his true colors, unexpectedly. At least the fights getting made.

  14. Lmao. Canelo would be a G in my book
