Are you crazy! Everything Canelo did got magnified by a million. They were on that Canelo bandwagon all night.

yup, trout while a very good fighter, is a sloppy puncher, and he still had alvarez on the ropes outworking him. mayweather is too sharp of a puncher.

I noticed again his punches getting sloppier in the later rounds, but even worse this time, his balance seemed lethargic, too. I don't think the 'patient' excuse can be used any more. His stamina is a real problem. It forces him to take too many rounds off, and sooner or later, someone's gonna' take advantage of that.

I agree. Showtime were slightly in Trout's favour. I mean, they even tried to score the knockdown round a 10-9.

He proved he's an elite fighter. He showed more skills than Trout, the people arguing that Trout won are only basing this on punch output but everyone agrees that the quality came from Canelo. The boy can fight.

As far as Floyd, unless he gets shot overnight I still see Floyd outboxing him but it would be competitive.

dude grow up. I wasn't even rooting for either guy I was expecting a great fight. Canelo legit impressed me . I thought he was overly conservative, but he's really good.

It was your agenda lol. Now that Manny lost, you have to find someone Floyd is "ducking". I eagerly await the threads in the next few weeks from you.

Patience at the beginning of a fight is understandable. But in the middle and towards the end? I don't think so. It's a stamina issue.

    Changing your tune, Gander?

Someone in the room felt this was more of the case then a stamina issue. Maybe a bit of both. He looked fine dodging punches on the ropes, but it was like he was mindful to not waste too much by throwing exploding punches. Maybe he waits for the moment too much. He doesn't look all that tired. Just doesn't throw many punches. Kid certainly looks like a tank.

He got up from the knockdown and was outlanding him and backing him up.

The blow by blow guy was calling every Alvarez right hand even when he missed.

nah, Canelo is strong but he is a square fighter with average speed. Once he loses the advantage of youth, he will be ripe for the picking. Mayweather will easily beat him. Canelo hasn't got the nuances to deal with floyd.
