FTR, I never gave Pac **** for that, because catch weights are part of boxing history. And, I also seem to remember Margarito being huge the night he fought Pac, and Pac still beat his ass. So, it's all moot. Pac knocking Cotto the **** out had nothing to do with a couple of pounds, it had to do with Pac being the superior fighter.

well then my previous post wasn't for you.

But there are an army of *****s here that abuse Manny Pac, call him the Catchweight king, say he weight drains oppoent etc. etc.

They are all now on here defending this Catchweight

Now we see all the arguing and insulting each other was just sibling rivalry. When Floyd said he wanted fighters to be comfortable, he meant his brother Pacquiao to be comfortable making millions fighting lesser opponents. When Pacquiao made all his excuses about giving blood, his real fear was losing to a fellow catch weight brother. Which is against the catch weight code of conduct. Now fighting Rios, drug testing is important he says. :patsch

So he's bothered but not that much.
It still makes difference or he wouldn't have asked for it.
It's still a really good fight dont get me wrong.

Ward would have fought him at a CW but it was Dawson who wanted to fight him at SMW

i think it will depend on what becomes of Alvarez. He's 22, so if floyd beats him then alvarez goes on to be a HOF'er it could go down as floyds best win.

I'm sure a loss won't do much to damage Canelo. It'd be a loss to the best fighter of the era. No biggie

Stupid thread from an emotional Floyd hater. Don't let your hate cloud your opinion. Its the best fight available and your bitching about 2lbs?

Floyd contradict himself all the damn time. Who cares! Oops, YOU DO apparently SMH

I want Cotto at his best weight, where he is comfortable.

After all the bitcing about Pacquiao's Catchweight in the Cotto Fight he goes around and does it himself
