I really believe Floyd is going to implement the same gameplan Ray Leonard used against Hagler

It might be a tad boring, but he has to do whatever it takes to win.

I think Canelo will fall the same way Hagler did

Their inability of effectively cutting off the ring will be their downfall

Hell no. Canelo is nowhere near Marvin Hagler's level. Damn, *****s are something else.

    No one said that. l2read

Hagler was never really that good at cutting off the ring though. That much is apparent.

I just want to know what you think about Floyd asking for a catchweight?

MVC you've been one of the biggest critics on here of Mannys Catchweight against Cotto.

And to answer the question No.

Hagler was Number 1 p4p, Leonard had been retired a few years, never fought at middleweight before, was a huge underdog, and fought him at the full 160 limit.

So no i don't see any similarities.

Still a good fight though, but quit reaching

Smokes and mirrors man smokes and mirrors

It's just a way of telling Canelo "You're 22 and haven't headlined a PPV, why are you demanding everything"

    :deal

I honestly don't think the weight matters at all this fight.

Just re read your thread. Do i think Floyd will stay on his toes. Maybe.

not sure as of yet. Imagine so, I don't think he'll be wise to stay on the ropes against canelo

This fight will never ever EVER be that close. Canelo will be dead after round 6. I see a late stoppage happening.

If the weight didn't matter, the floyd will be at 154. That sends out a better message than asking for a catchweight.

If he wanted to send out a demand, he could have just made canelo take less money.
