Including Alvarez were ranked in the top 10 p4p by Ring Magazine when Mayweather fought them. Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Guerrero, and now Alvarez. That was sprinkled in with Ortiz and Cotto, who were both reigning champs. That's a good run considering all the **** Mayweather gets for his quality of opposition.
Except that no one in the world ranked Guerrero in the top 10. He was a top 25 fighter, but def not top 10 P4P.
That resume is going to look pretty good when he retires. Canelo, Matthysse/Garcia, Pac? Bradley? Broner? Khan will probably get in there though.
The guys gets **** for fighting Guererro who was top 5 at WW. Floyd is simply held to different standards
I corrected my post. I meant to say ranked top 10 p4p by Ring Magazine. Guerrero was ranked 8th by Ring Magazine.
it looks good on paper but not when you look at the bigger picture and realize alot of these guys aren't at their best.
Mayweather isn't at his best now. Would it still not be a great win for Alvarez considering Mayweather is still performing at a high level?
Sick of hearing Mayweathers opponents getting ripped on. Boxing is a great sport but it's fan's are ****ing losers.
