Ok, lets have some fun here. I was talking to the Thurmanator yesterday, and he said him and his team are trying their best to not overlook his upcoming fight, but they REALLY want on the mayweather alvarez undercard. This card SHOULD be stacked, and Im sure after floyds disappointment with how much the ghost fight gave him he will want to load this thing. So, I wanna see who you guys got for realistic undercards. mine: Gary Russel jr vs someone with a pulse Keith Thurman vs Victor Ortiz Adrian Broner vs Robert Guerrero
There is no way Adrien Broner, Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse are fighting on some undercard, get real people.
I think Broner against Mosley is possible for the undercard, Broner not any bigger a star than Canelo was when he fought Mosley on Floyds undercard, a more proven fighter though.
If they put Matthysse-Garcia on the card I'd be happy. They could fill the rest of the time like a Klitschko card and bring the Scorpions out to sing Winds of Change and I wouldn't complain.
I will cry if there's something like Love-Rosado 2. I want to see something like Mares-Rigo, Mares-Santa Cruz, Chisora-Wilder, Broner vs SOMEONE GOOD
Most realistic fighters appearing on the card are the same ones that were on the last card. Mares, LSC and Gabe vs. Love II. Broner fights too soon, Thurman has a chance, but he would need to fight a more notable name on the card. Winner of Maidana-Lopez will not be ready in time. Matthysse and Garcia was ruled out by GBP. It will be September 7th and build momentum for the PPV on 9/14. Dark Horse would be something like Mosley vs. Thurman, which fits a similar mode of Love vs. Rosado.
