I didn't say it was his doing. I said it in response to you saying how does Crolla deserve Burns when he is ranked 66th and how is this next fight an eliminator. If you ask me Crolla should be the one fighting Beltran, if he wins it he might be seen as a legitimate opponent for Ricky Burns.

ive seen plenty of him, he's a decent fighter coming off a loss, burns would beat him comprehensively and beating him would accomplish zilch
Thats not a very healthy attitude to have in my opinion....If someone calls himself champ then he should be prepared to take on all comers, not just the people who he knows he can beat. Yours is more a business rather than sporting approach, its actually very Franklike

I have only been against a business approach when it means a BS fight. If Burns was going to fight Scott Harrison instead of Miguel Vasquez I would be pissed off, but if he fights Beltran, Bogere, Estrada, DeMarco etc I have no issue and I see the benefit in not making the Vasquez fight straight away.
For me Burns proved himself against Mitchell to be better than any UK domestic lightweight .Want to see him keep fighting at world level ( better and more exciting nights of boxing ).Vazquez fight I think is a 50/50 but dangerous fight for Burns .
Likewise it's very dangerous for Vasquez,Ricky's wanted a unification fight for T least 18 months now I'm sure it won't be to long now
The fight that should have been made back in the Super Featherweight days was Mzonke Fana. Would have been for the WBO/IBF titles.
