That's funny I saw the same thing. Try explaining what you saw to 90% of the fly by nighters.

he wastes alot of energy with his style. That'll probably improve when he's 27 or 28. Thats if he's the same fighter after floyd damages him.

It's the kind of bad stamina where he fights in spurts, but his power never goes anywhere. He takes time off within rounds, but doesn't take rounds off (he may not throw but he moves.)

Because he's a middleweight draining himself to make 154 lbs.

We'll see how much mustard he loses when Floyd is consistently hitting his body. Trout punches like a ******, for a lack of a better word, compared to Floyd.

    Put it this way.

I am a long distance runner, and I train 3 times a week at the moment. There is a guy who always finishes way behind me, and get really pissed off that he cant beat me. So to try and beat me trains harder than me, 5 days a week, and to some extent now eats healthier than me.

Last week we did a 10k and I still beat him. Not by as much as before, but still a considerable amount.

Plain and simple, my genetics have given me better stamina than his, and there isn't much he can do about it. He may get to the stage where he is faster than me, but if I up my training to his level, I will always beat him.

We are all built so differently, and unfortunately Alvarez doesn't have good stamina, much like my friend (in comparison to me anyway).

    Its that simple.

I am sure he (canelo) trains hard and eats the right things... Look at his body.

He simply will never get elite stamina Because his genes are limiting him.

It also doesn't help that he throws 80% power punches.

I can assure you that if we all were brought up in exactly the same way Mayweather was (as in early introduction to boxing and same training) we wouldn't all be as good as him.

Genetics are Key to being elite in any sport.

Ive never seen this bad stamina to be honest.

He doesnt have an all action fighting style. He fights in bursts. Thats just how he fights.

Dont think its due to poor stamina.

Anyway, with a solid S+C coach in Ariza, any stamina issues will be dealt with

As we say where I come from, it doesnt who the trainer is and what he does, you cant train a donkey to win the derby.

Gentics plays a large role in everything in sports.

However,as Ive said, Ive yet to see Canelos supposed bad stamina

montell griffen is 5'7" and fought primarily at 175 his whole career.

he never had a problem gassing.

and the size difference between montell and canelito was huge as montell was all muscle.

He's not even a middleweight. He's a supermiddleweight bordering on lightheavyweight. Maybe the 172lb is not his real weight if he hadn't dehydrated at gorged himself before the fight.

A middleweight draining himself to light middleweight is bad but not that bad.. Most fighters natural weight is one weight class higher than the one they are fighting at. It's when you drain 2-3 weight classes where it is dangerous.

By that logic Dawson is a Cruiserweight.

    Matthyse is a LMW

    Donaire is a LWW

    Ortiz is a SMW.

Clottey was a darn LHW fighting at WW!

Thats not how modern boxing works.

You amke the weight the day before, then you ARE that weight!

Trout is scared to sit down on his shots yet Alvarez was visibly bothered by his bodyshots. Floyd naturally hits harder than Trout too.
