Lee Selby - getting bored?

    Don't normally start too many threads but was speaking to some folk earlier who were asking about Lee Selby. Think he was supposed to have been fighting in Cardiff June 15th before other developments intervened.

    Any news? Seems to have all gone very quiet.

    He's not my personal favourite, but he's a solid prospect for the future. It seems hard to get fighters over for him.

    Yeah suppose it's a tough one for his promoter then. He has no name with the general public even in Wales, yet in the boxing community he is a name to be avoided at the level he is presently at. Just wondered where exactly he fits in to whatever bill he is next being lined up for

    I think Eddie became obsessed with the all the froch and brook business and forgot about everything else or atleast took his eye off the ball.

    I don't get why he bought into Brook. The guy never looked anything special. Froch was a banker to an extent, just needing some attention. But Brook? The guy is just meh.

    Im guessing because of the sparring stories with Khan. He saw a massive payday and event if he could get brook a world title.

    defo will be a world champion soon.

    i really feel he will be great

    hearn needs to get him a euro title fight or one of those intercontinental belts

    You know that I really respect your opinion, but I just can't see it, Ive never bought into the lad. I must be missing something because a lot of very good posters on here really rate him.
