How do you feel about how the careers of Froch and Dirrell have panned out?

He wasn't even on ***** Street against Taylor,where his bad footwork got him caught off balance with a punch that started the attack that led to the KD.
His head was clearer than a glass of volvic even when he was on his arse.

Andre Dirrell with only 17 pro fights boxed Froch's ears of and had him wobbling across the ring in the 10th round.

When he decided to open up because he knew he was going to get robbed in Nottingham he completely bossed the fight.

This has no bearing that Froch has had the much more successful career and Dirrell for whatever reason is in retirement.

However lets not lie on what happened on the night or I'll start asking for scorecards.

See thats the problem.. when he decided to open up? he had the skills to beat Froch yet ran like a *****.. if thats the type of boxing you wish to view then good luck to you.. We have totally different views on how boxing should be.

As a Froch fan I scored Kessler 1 to Kessler and had no problem in saying he was soundly beat against Ward.. yet the Dirrell fight was bull**** and ****ing totally embarrassing to the sport.

 

I saw a young fighter get frustrated from Froch's fouling tactics after thoroughly giving him a boxing lesson in the first five rounds. Then in the 10th realizing where he was fighting and dominate.

If thats running to you than we do have a different definition of what boxing is.

I've said many times that the scorecards were questionable,however,I stand by my assertion that being made to take a step back after being wobbled is not ***** Street.
He took all of what,a second and a half to clear his head?
That was not ***** Street,and if it had been Dirrell wouldn't have got on his bike.
I can appreciate slick style the same as you can and that wasn't some Rigo-like performance.Froch was there to be had that night and we could be looking at a whole different landscape if he'd had the instinct of say,Ward.

That fight was there for Dirrell to force the judges hands.There have been far worse examples of judges being unkind to guys on the backfoot.
I even posted a thread many moons ago about how I worried we could be witnessing the end of fighters who work better off the back foot never getting decisions.

 

No wonder American boxing is dying if you enjoy watching that ****.. because it was utter trash.. I have never seen a boxer act so cowardly..

The Italian judge scored the 11th for Froch. The 11th was the clearest round for either fighter barring the 10th and Dirrell clearly won it.

Not too mention the point deduction in a foul plagued fight.

Just a pure ratchet job anyway I look at it.

The 2 Europeans scored it for Froch. The one mexican scored it for Dirrell. Says it all in a tournament that was supposed to be a showcase of European boxing talent.
