He was a weightlifting fighter who got hit...a lot. What made him great was his heart, which was not from the weightlifting.

id pick bag work, and sparing, and running 10 out of 10 times over weight lifting. you dont see bears and tigers up in the weight room do you?

I hope the last part about bears and tigers in the gym was a joke, if not it's one of the dumbest responces I've seen on this forum.

I kind of miss ralphc, his uninformed ******ed posts were always good for a laugh, it seems there's a few competing to take his place, though.

Care to explain yourself? Your posts so far are rather random and not making sense.

Thought you were reffering to me making ******ed posts. so back at you. Any ways, the bear, tiger thing was a little bit of joking, but not entirely.

    the whole point is mute
    pretty sure
he didnt lift weights because most trainers in his day
said it was evil because they didnt have enough knowlege to understand
that resistance training is resistance training

bench press or push up etc

and most of the guys he fought turpin excluded
trained the same way he did

    times change

the same old school coaches will say weights make u stiff
    sure didnt need know that
    running long distance
    lowers testosterone levels

which sure aint great for fighting
