How in the world can you rate Lucas Matthysse 11th best pound for pound in the world?

After beating a limited Lamont Peterson who proved his limits against Amir Khan and won because of robbery. Do we forget Matthysse lost to Devon Alexander and to Zab Judah?

11 is probably too high, but did you watch the fights?

    BoxRec did it.

So? Unofficially. Officially he got beaten by a Zab Judah not in best shape. Officially Matthysse didn't win anybody than a limited Peterson to be so highly ranked.

Seems a bit sleazy to play the robbery card to knock Matthysse without mentioning he got jobbed himself...

Easy, he fought Alexander and Judah and didn't get hit solid once. Slaughtered Peterson and beat the hell out of a guy Danny Garcia paid off 3x.

If Broner can be at 6, then nobody should complain about Matthysse's rank.
    It's all bullocks anyway.

If you noticed they also have Daniel Geale above Rigondeaux, Boxrec's P4P rankings have always been ****, don't take it so seriously.

I think 15 is about right for him, and that's if you feel he beat Devon and Zab.

    Very good fighter.

I think it's much too high not because he isn't really good but because he hasn't proved yet that he's really that good and he has to because of some of his loses

Why the hell should bad judges be given deference for something already as subjective as P4P rankings?

I haven't seen Matthysse-Judah but have seen Matthysse-Alexander. Matthysse beat Alexander, I analysed the **** out of it.

Matthysse has adjusted his gameplan. Based on boxing, he is pretty even with Devon Alexander which is impressive..but now his gameplan has adjusted so he's more centered around his power. He is going to be lethal. He lands shots that knock people out cold. Technically if he were in a boxing match with Peterson, it would be extremely close. Gameplans change a lot.

Just imagine Devon Alexander as he is right now, for example + unbelievable punching power.
