    +1000.

Yet Guerrero got a spin job as to why he was so legitimate. As a Floyd fan, even I recognized that **** was pretty wack. Enjoyed it, though.

Ironically I think both Alvarez and Mayweather struggle against high volume punchers, and niether are so this will be interesting. Both accurate fighters and Saul is deceptively fast but mayweather is obviously faster. I was surprised at Sauls defense against Trout and i honestly had Trout winning the fight but maybe i gave to much to activity. What i fear going into this fight is Canelos workrate may be too low for mayweathers accuracy. He needs to work on his condition. I think Lara gives Mayweather a harder fight and Pacquiao and Lucas could offer the most surprising ending if they were to square off against money. I still think this is one of the best fights that can be made and will be great for boxing!!

:good I was at a Graduation party last night we were talking about the Canelo Floyd fight, there were two people there who were talking about they would never again pay for a Mayweather PPV event after that Guerrero fight.

They were saying **** like but wasnt Robert like this knock out artist or some ****....:-( ****ing casuals:verysad I told them take your time and learn about the sport who is who and you will never come back saying I will never order a Mayweather PPV event again ever, because you would have learned whos what and whos not

using a high work rate against Floyd is suicide you only give the more "Accurate puncher" that many more opportunities to score you have to fight in a controlled manner against a counter puncher like that.

I am just some ESB poster so my credibility doesn't matter much. It is Floyd whose credibility to fight the tough challenges is questioned. The fact he signed to fight Canelo makes me think he knows Canelo is overrated, but yeah he signed it so credit to him for taking on a challenge compared to Guerrero or Ortiz. Other fighters like Froch fight the best and no one gives him credit. Floyd signs to fight Canelo and people want to say he is the greatest fighter ever.
The fight has not happened yet. 3 months away and Floyd could pull out of it. The fact is Canelo has been overrated a bit and most fighters today are overrated after a few wins. Maybe it is the internet and young fans who see a fighter win one or two fights and think he is the second coming of Ali. Fans all over have overrated Mattysee to ridiculous levels the last few weeks. I suppose this is the age of the internet.

well he now has signed to fight a guy who is not great but better than most of the guys he has fought in the last few years as far as prime, so he is in a new situation. Let's see. He had 3 months. He did not sign the Pacman fight in the last few years. He he found ways out of it by putting too many requirements on Pacman. He didn't want the fight and without saying it showed it. I have always said he has the skills to beat better guys, he just didn't show the confidence to fight them.

I dont think you can compare Pac v JMM to Floyd v JMM, Floyd would school any counter puncher with ease, thats why the Marquez fight was so easy for him.

You dont know if Pac is damaged goods yet, we will just have to wait and see how he takes a punch from Rios if he starts walking through them then i would say Pac is certainly not damaged goods.

but Pac v Floyd will never happen anyway.

Alvarez is the fight that would make the most money and make Floyd look good taking on a younger bigger guy. That said, Floyd will dominate him easily. This is another showcase for floyd. Mattayhsse or Provodnikov, maybe Pac man only fighters at 147 and under that have ANY chance to beat Mayweather.

    This thread is pathetic.......

Alvarez is the lineal JMW champ. He is the best victory that anyone at 147 could pick up within one division up or down, other than Floyd Mayweather himself.

That is true and if he were fighting someone other than floyd i would probably pick him to win.
