Fury for me has a good shot at beating Haye.If he circles left away from Hayes right and pumps the jab then he will give Haye problems.Fury also hits hard when he sits down on his punches. If Fury takes Hayes best shot and the fight goes past 4 rounds then Haye is in deep ****
Can someone explain how not fighting a lesser opponent so you can fight a harder one can be considered a duck? If he pulled out and fought a Latvian bellboy then you may have a case. I suppose the people saying it's a duck are the same ones that think Tim Bradley ducked Amir Khan, only to go on and fight Manny Pacquaiou in his next fight. :rofl
Maybe because no one actually knows if he's fighting Haye or not. At the moment, it's just being used as a handy excuse- whether it's actually true or not
That's a fair comment actually , nothing with Haye has been agreed, although I think it will be soon.
From a business point of view Fury made the right choice, he can make twice as much money against Adamek and Price than he would against Pulev. Wilder would bring a bigger payday as well, maybe even J. Banks. Against Haye he would surelly make around 4 times more, but it's also the toughest fight available, one I consider Fury a live but clear underdog. After Haye, Pulev would rank second as toughest matchup of the ones listed, which clearly explains the decision. On the other hand, because Fury hypes himself so much, calls everybody out, accepted the Pulev matchup so many times during the past months, now to walk away from the fight is a clear duck. Personally I hated the decision, Pulev deserved better than this.
Anyone think Sky will look to put the Fury vs Haye fight on the 14th September, make it PPV, then get the Mayweather vs Alvarez fight to go with it.
If its at Wembley Ill be heading down there on the train, be arsed sitting behind all those 50mph gypo caravans on the M6 & M1
is september not a bit soon if haye really is injured? was booth who mentioned a stadium fight - cant see that dont really understand the problem with fury taking this fight over any other available next up - if your going to lose do it for the most money ive heard said a few times
Pulev is clearly terrible business for Fury, the risk/reward is atrocious. He could fight Haye, Adamek or Price, make shitloads of money, lose and still be only a couple of reasonably easy wins off where he is now. A loss is not really going to set Fury's career back at all.
Was hoping this fight would come off,but Furys only a young man and maybe they want a few more fights for him.I agree with your first statement, think Pulev beats either brother, but not necessarily your 2nd.Reckon Haye is a 50 50 fight now if it comes off.
