    How about this:

James Kirkland has only been KO'd once. However, this was by a guy with 25% KO's, 3 knockdowns and getting leveled by jabs! Talk about a chin of candy floss. He makes Khan's chin look like flame hardened steel.

The number of KO defeats have nothing to do with it, the guys you mention have proven solid mandibles.

Well his chin is some of the reason he's getting knocked out.
Another one is his horrendus defense.

But his chin is awful and you know it.

Unbelieveable, some of the comments here! :nut How many time does Khan's chin have to get shattered before these deniers and fanboys admit that, yes, Amere Kon has a glass jaw?? :patsch

I think the difference is that Amir leaves his chin completely exposed when he is throwing punches. Why he cannot become more defensive after being hit clean in other fights I am not sure. If he does not learn from his past fights what is the use of experience.

Yeah But they were awake. Khan wasn't and he lost to people that weren't know as big punchers. I would let my child fight khan---if she lands one punch she wins.

His chin is bad but his defence and ring awareness is worse

Someone with his speed shouldn't be getting tagged so much by a flat footed plodder like Danny Garcia but he couldn't miss with the left hook

I think his chin is absolutely atrocious. Almost like it is some genetic defect because even normal guys Id imagine have better whiskers then that. He has a strange type though. I dont think we will see him sparked out cold, but get knocked out by wobbliness. Its probably the fact that he doesnt lose consciousness in getting hit by huge punches but moreso his legs fail him..

Even against Mathysse i guarantee he will get knocled out by wobbliness and not sparked out cold like a mike dallas.

People still trying to make a case that Khan has a decent chin? Give it up. The dude gets rocked easily by fighters that aren't power punchers. When he gets hurt bad, he goes on to run for dear life and that's the only reason he survived against Maidana. The proof about how limited Khan is, should have been noticeable after his last fight. This is supposed to be world class fighter in his prime, and their he was sitting on the ring while his trainer talked about him like he was a 12 year old kid that just walked into a boxing gym. If he moves up to 147, he gets hurt...bad.

"Cold Jaw" is the term, mate. Like when Kalambay got caught early by Nunn. (In response to Southpawslayer re Archie Moore.
