    Whats wrong with last minute?

At least they try to get fights! Sky dont even try anymore....and look how much people and boxing fans fork out for that everymonth!

The first time in a while Sky put on an alright fight, they get it on PPV!

    Also

As much as people hate Frank on here, Boxnation was voted the best channel for boxing, beating Sky, Channel 5 and anywhere else, on this very forum! People will try and deflect from Frank saying Frank doesnt = Boxnation. But deep down they know how it is. They dont wanna give Frank any praise. They have an agenda to push.

Frank saved my life once, true story.

As long as they GET fights. Thats all that matters to boxing fans paying for it. Most boxing fans know what fights are coming up, if they get it last minute then people still know about the fight, if they dont get fights last minute, then people can find other ways of watching the fights.

Boxnation very rarely letdown though. They deliver time and time again.

Buying the fights last minute must reduce the cost of the rights or just let them manage their cashflow better.

Well, he's only guaranteed a slot if Dawson chooses to actually accept the mandatory challenge. He's got form for dropping a belt if the opponent isn't worth his while.

    Its a good strategy then?

Frank knows how to wheel and deal! Why pay premium prices if you can take the risk getting the same thing for lower? Its not like any other channel is gonna jump in last minute is it?

Not only that, but when they get fights last minute, Frank looks like an heroic savior of boxing. Its no coincidence, they know what they're doing, they do it on purpose! Frank is for the fans! Nobody can deny that! He makes the fights the fans want to see! Even when society is trying to stop them from happening....Look at Chisora vs. Haye!

Frank delivers better than any midwife.

Before you know it Matchroom will be on Boxnation. Sky are messing them around by not acquiring these sort of fights. It seems Eddie has no input whatsoever. He can knock Boxnation all he likes! On about "there isnt a market for a boxing only channel"

He'll know about it when Sky ditch Matchroom like they did Hatton Promotions.

If ya'll need to have a problem, your problems should be with the head of Sky boxing, not Frank or Eddie!

Its that weird Adam Smith destroying British Boxing behind the scenes, whilst you lot point fingers at promoters.

    It aint Smeg.

Other people are backing me up to.

I know I heard something about it. If they dont think Bellew is game enough and Dawson/Stevenson dont want it, they wont encourage it. Bellew is a nobody in the US and thats where the fight will be. In front of about 10-15 people maximum....unless they stick it on the undercard of a big fight???

It aint strong enough to main event. Dawson aint a high ticket seller, neither will Bellew be in the US, unless he sparks serious controversy in the build up to get people to watch. There is no way that they get the fights over here. Bellew will be on away ground, Dawson or Stevenson.

If its Dawson, I cant see a fight happening at all.
Stevenson can be made in Canada.

Bellew better be hoping Stevenson pulls it of!
