Spare me the useless triangle theory logic.

Whitaker was able to punch on the move in a way Mayweather never did. His movement against a past-prime Chavez was constant and unrelenting, and his seamless transition between offensive combination punching and defensive footwork & upper body movement is something Floyd's style does not employ. Even if Floyd were to win, it would have little to do with anything Whitaker was able to accomplish.

Once again, proving that you're a biased idiot who DKSAB. Good job MVC.

You really know nothing about boxing.

Floyd moved in very awkward ways in his 135-140 days with great lineal movement idiot.

    :patsch

Your hatred towards Mayweather is resounding

He would easily outpoint Chavez with his punching power/movement.

Hard to call tbh. I think Chavez could beat Floyd with Floyd winning a rematch and 3rd fight

I'm sure he was just complaining about it and having his corner rub his left shoulder after round 1 just for the hell of it

JCC was like a super man version of JLC, and we all saw what happened to Floyd against JLC.

I would have to favor Mayweather to outbox Chavez and win a UD, although he could not lie on the ropes like he does in his fights. If he does that Chavez would wear him and and take over and stop him late. Floyd would have to be active and really fight his way out of exchanges and be quicker, which I think he is. He would control this with his speed. That is what Mayweather is all about . Speed. Another factor is I Meldrick was faster than Julio, although Meldrick always used his speed to win the fights offensively, he was always in punching range of his opponents as he was with Meekins and McGirt whom he dominated. And Meldrick was not any faster than Floyd or better. Floyd is better much better defensively. I think eventually Floyd's speed takes over and Julio will not take many chances because of how easy it will be for Floyd to hit him and Floyd controls the rounds. Now this is at 147 I am talking. 135 and 140? I think Julio stops Floyd at 135 and gets edged by Floyd at 140 in a grueling fight for Floyd.
