No, unlike some people I actually watch boxing from around the world so I have seen Beltran fight and know it will be a great fight. Far far better to watch than Vasquez/Abril. Adrian Broner (WBC) 2. Miguel Vasquez (IBF) 3. Richard Abril (WBA) 4. Ricky Burns (WBO) 5. Marvin Quintero 6. Raymundo Beltran 7. Denis Shafikov 8. Antonio DeMarco 9. Sharrif Bogere 10. Mercito Gesta 11. Daniel Estrada 12. Gavin Rees 13. John Molina 14. Henry Lundy 15. Ameth Diaz
The most important thing for Rickys next fight is he is in a good fight and wins. If his next fight is a stinker then he will struggle to pull in big crowds. Lets be honest the casual dont know who Vasquez and wont care that hes a belt holder. I would fight Beltran first then fight Vasquez and if he comes through build to massive fights next year.
I know you have your own set of criteria but surely with Broners own admission that he won't be at 135 again any time soon he needs removing?
Out of the fights that are likely to happen id enjoy DeMarco and Beltran the most. Ricky needs guys who will play to his strenghts by standing their ground and fighting, so we can rule out Abril, Gamboa, Vasquez & Broner, that's just common sense.
Because not everyone is involved in petty internet sqaubbles and because Rob does his own rankings that are published on CHB, Mr "joined May 13".
