Heard James Degale vs Thomas Oosthuizen is being discussed for the fall September October time should both of them come through their fights this month. Would be a good test for both fighters and the winner would be in prime line for a world title shot

  2. Good competitive fightThis would be a perfect step up

In America? Or at home though

Dunno who I would pick, no seen a whole lo of Ooshuizen and Degale's a tough one to judge. Some performances he looks sloppy and seems to struggle.

50-50, both fringe world-class operators, can only be good for both men. How likely is this?

    A bit premature to discuss.

They have less than certain hurdles to jump over first. (Stjepan Bozic is no pushover, although DeGale should be favored...and Brandon Gonzáles might actually be Oosthuize's 2nd best opponent after Chilemba)

Would be a quality fight, DeGale has really impressed me the last couple of fights, seems to have come on a lot, and might actually fulfil the potential

No Adonis Stevenson was Mandatory when he beat Don George but then he decided to move up in weight to fight Chad Dawson (not wanting to wait for the winner of Froch-Kessler)

Thomas Oosthuzien was offered a fight with Froch before and turned it down so Froch fought Yusaf Mack instead if i remember correctly

Really interesting fight. It would be nice to see how Degale copes with Tommys height if he even bothers to utilise it, if not we could see a bit of a tear up.

Will believe this when it happens, but it would be a good one.A win would put Degale just above Groves,I think, and get him an immediate top rating. Its a big ask,as the South African is tall, young and very good.James may need to get a bit of a move on now,and this would be just the one to do it.But as with the one with Froch,I think it'll be just talk.
