Best Referee in the sport?

Bayless is good, Smoger is obvioulsy the best East Coast ref, I also like the ref who was in the Ortiz-Josesito fight.

Steve Smoger. Far and away my favorite. You always know the fight will be decided by the fighters and have minimal referee interference.

 

Smoger and Weeks. I don't get the Bayless praise. and I know people hate Arthur Mercante Jr, but I like him just because he carries his own scissors and tape lol.

Smoger is a corrupt mfer like most american refs are example of smoger is he'll allow ward to hug and headbutt yet in the next fight not involving an american he will stamp holding out

How anyone other than patriotic americans can say smoger is beyond me

SMOGER is not a good ref. All he does is nothing, watch Ward-Froch and tell me how many times Ward holds and grabs without SMOGER doing anything! Like a Klitschko referee as well! :twisted:

 

Smoger gets involved when he has to, the referee work for Ward vs Froch was fine. Ward didn't hold much at all in that fight, he beat Froch on the outside and on the inside fairly. Even the Sky Sports commentators agreed the fight was clean, the only complaint they had of Smoger was at one point when Froch was being smothered by Ward(not held mind you, but smothered), Froch held Ward to force a break and Ward got in a ref blindside light uppercut right before Smoger broke them up, which is really the fault of Carl slacking off on defense. Smoger is the best overall, with Weeks and Bayless close behind.

 

Bayless,smoger, weeks in that order.I would put weeks in front of smoger but seems as smogers been a bit more active
