i could watch every single naz fight and still come to the same prediction i had before barrera, that he would get soundly outboxed by a master.
dont get me wrong, i followed naz because he was pure entertainment and worth the ticket price, but he was never going to beat the best boxers in the world, he was too technically unsound. there is a reason technique has evolved over a hundred years to what it is todday, because it beats every other form of fighting within these rules.

What ever you say Naz is A ATG featherweights

he wold struggle against pure boxers but Naz would destroy alot of the great featherweights because he is hardest punching featherweight i think there has ever been

depends on what parameters you use in defining an atg and where you place him within those confines.

To me is a top 15 featherweight overall talent level should have been a top 5.

i feel the same as manny stew felt about hammed

i wont dispute the top 15 part because i cant think of 15 featherweights i would put above him. i will dispute the notion that he could have been greater than the level he actually achieved.

Not sure why on the general forum it has become Pep Week, but I'll play along.

Pep is one of the defensive masters amongst an elite class of his ilk (Mayweather Jr., Niccolino Locche, Wilfredo Benitez, Pernell Whitaker). He would have been great in any era due to his abilities.

It's fairly safe to say that his defense would have been something Naz would be overwhelmed by. I think he'd make Naz look very silly at times.

I'm a fan of Naz and have been since the time he was active, and he never attained ATG status despite his amazing attributes (unique unorthodox style, and amazing Power @ FW, tremendous charisma). He's still a HoF'er to me though.

Another 'Excuses for Naz' thread I see...mother****ers are deluded. Pep would humiliate any version of Naz.
