Typical hot air from the ducking Froch. "I'll fight anybody, duck no one" says Froch as he continues to weight drain and fight in the 'super' middleweight division which is perhaps the worst division in the sport. Super middleweight only has one elite level operator in Ward and we already seen what happened when "the brave" Froch faced him.

I think it's quite telling actually that the high point of Froch's career is just about going 1-1 with Kessler who was said to be on the slide when Calzaghe raped him good and proper back last decade. That was a decade ago gentlemen, a decade!

As for the Cleverley Froch fight? No chance Froch and Hearn go after an actual dangerous opponent like Nathan, Nathan would wipe the floor with the plodding and stiff Froch and win by a good 8 points or so. He's far too technical for him really. I suspect what we will see though from the Hearn/Froch "dream team" is possibly Froch vs Bika or maybe even Lacy if he's still a pro so we can see once again Froch look totally inferior to super Joe despite fighting Joe's left overs a decade after their prime.

    SO.

if Boxing was like it was in the past and fighters fought their top opponents multiple times and even in a heavier division, then yeah this would be a great and highly anticipated fight, and losing wouldn't change anything.

But boxing ISN'T like that now, and very, very few fighters weight hop & fight domestic threats and NEVER out of their division when TOP World Titles are of the foremost and sole interest in their careers present!

Why should Froch do what NOBODY else's does?

maybe after Ward, BHop a sudden JC return, then Nathan Cleverly...

He needs that column to be taken off of him.

It's nothing but a soundboard to slag everyone off. He's never got anything unbiased or good to say.

Nathan NEEDS to fight someone worth a ****. He beat Tony, yet Tony could be facing Chad Dawson in a few months whilst Nathan is fighting nobodies.

    ***** is something else...

Should just make it easier for him to get to 168, because theres no way Froch is going up to face him

It started bad, got worse, and ended with a mention of Jeff Lacy, who's been retired for 3 years. Back to the drawing board lad, that wasn't even good trolling.

The problem is Nathan's not well known. Maybe if he'd of not wasted last year fighting only twice against Karpency & Hawk & had actually though 2 or 3 top 10 LHW's there might of been plenty of fans calling for a Froch - Cleverly fight.

As it stands I think more casuals in Britain have heard of Ward, Kessler & even Groves than they have Cleverly so there's no reason to fight him.

I rate Cleverly but he needs to step his opposition up, no offence to Bellew or Murat but you don't get super fights & multi million pound pay days when they're the best names on your record.

Franks not skint, maybe his company is but he certainly isn't.

As you point out, Froch has been in with a much higher level of opponent than Cleverly so can just shrug off the kid and chase fights with Ward, Hopkins maybe....Having said that, I think that Cleverlys busy style would give Carl nightmares

I think its posturing by Frank. I presume he is making this offer on the basis of the fight being on BoxNAtion, knowing damn well Froch is a sky fighter.
