    Lopez looks like the much bigger guy. Looks like he's adjusted well at 147. Maidana looks undersized.

    Lopez starts very fast, and HURTS MAIDANA WITH STRAIGHT COMBINATIONS. Maidana is blasted into a corner, shying away with head bowed meekly behind his guard. Lopez slows down, pacing himself to avoid punching himself out. Jab by Lopez misses, but he digs a HARD LEFT HOOK TO THE BODY. MAIDANA IS BADLY HURT BY THAT. Maidana stumbles back into the ropes. More hooks by Lopez. Maidana is trying to clinch. Maidana slips to his knees. Ruled no knockdown, even though the whole sequence of Maidana losing his balance was caused by those hard left hooks of Lopez. Maidana is up and dancing on his toes. HARD RIGHT HAND BY LOPEZ, countering over the Maidana jab. Double jab by Lopez. Maidana stays outside, pumping the jab in triplicate. Straight right hand lead by Lopez, snapping Maidana's head back viciously. Left hooks to the body by Lopez, really sapping the wind of Maidana.

    Maidana is pouring out jabs and Lopez is countering with the jab and right hand in between lateral steps. Lopez is out-boxing Maidana at close to medium range. Maidana is forcing the jab out as far as he can, first hitting the forearms but then catching Lopez on the lip. Lopez blocks a right hand and gets backed up to the ropes. Hard right by Maidana. Uppercuts to the body by Maidana, building up a head of steam and teeing off. Maidana is swarming all over Lopez and has stolen the round.
