Khan Took Maidanas Best Shots Vs Lopez Couldn't

So Lopez has the power to break a guy's jaw and make him quit with one shot, whereas Prescott can't slow down a guy even after hitting him 10,000 times in the face and busting him up.

Just fine IMO.

 

Maidana had Khan on ***** street and it appeared as though he was on the verge of stopping Amir. I just re-watched it to refresh my memory and on at least 4 occasions Cortez for reasons unknown decided to break the fighters when Maidana was going for the kill, which allowed Kahn that split second to flee each time. I believe if Maidana was allowed to punch out of Kahn's death grip he probably would have stopped him.

 

Ah. "Joe Cortez" would have sufficed. Lol.
