I had it 117-111, Kessler's best round was the 2nd.

Midway in the fight you could see Kessler going into his corner and looking stunned and bewildered, he knew he was losing the fight.

ive got the dvd and at no point during the 8th round do the commentators say that Kessler was winning.

not only that, but at no point during the entire fight did they say Kessler was winning.

Cazlaghe was ahead pretty much from the start, and stayed ahead. I gave 3 rounds to Kessler.

116-112 is ok with me but no way will I concede that Joe won more than 8 rounds. I've watched the fight like 4 times and 116-112 is as far as I'll bend on it.

8-4 Calzaghe in an easy fight to score really an amazing performance by Calzaghe and I think a rematch would not be a given for Calz if it were to happen this year.

Thats the moment he won the fight. At the end of the 4th I had the fight even, then Joe adapted and romped away with the middle rounds. The 7th was a tricky one to score though as MK landed some bombs but Joe threw over 100 in reply. At the time I gave that one even, looking back it was probably Joe's round.

He hurt MK with a great body shot in round 8 I think and by Kesslers own admission it affected him right the way till the 11th. Fair play to him for giving it what he had in the 12th and fair play to Joe for not running away as by that point everyone and his dog knew MK needed a stoppage.

I had even after 4, MK took 12, 7 even and Joe the rest. 8-3-1.

I think Kess said he felt out of gas in round 5 and 6 (midway).

Yup, Kellerman asked him about it and Mikkel said straight up that he was hurt. Shocking in this day and age of "nah he never hurt me."

Calzaghe won clearly in the end but Kessler certainly wasn't outclassed and is ridiculous to keep reading accounts of Kessler being dominated. Calzaghe just proved that he had the better skill and adaptability but Kessler was impressive and he admitted that the body shot took his breath away at a vital time.

Lederman is no longer a good unofficial judge. Case and point would be rd 12 of the JMM Pac II fight.

  14. I can't believe most of you guys really, you amaze me :S Haven't you learnt yet?

If a fight is competitively close each round the 'named' man wins everytime; Cotto vs Mosley, JMM vs Pac,. Joe vs Mikkel and Jermain vs Pavlik 1 - up till the KO.

it is what it is, why cry? Joe still beat his ass without question :deal
