Burns vs Gamboa, possible?

Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by Alan_Francis_85, Jun 8, 2013.

  1. Yuri looks there for the taking at 135... And undefeated!

Fiddy keeps renting him out on undercards, proaly doesnt know how to put on his own show, why not come to Scotland?

well he didn't look overly impressive there. He's got a big name, it could be a good move for Burns to take him on now.

Like that one.Not sure of the outcome ,but the busyness of Burns should give him trouble.

Great fight Gamboa is a handful for any fighter. A very good 50/50 fight that Ricky can certainly win. All depends on how careful Hearn is going to be now I would like to see Gamboa then unify next year against Vasquez.. Then move up to light welter if he comes through these fights

Massive size difference in this one as well, about 5 inches in both reach and height.

It would be a great fight but I think he will need to join the Q

If it's a unification then great Billy but Gamboa is light years ahead of the likes of Beltran and Bogere

You forgot Martinez who is the current SFW champ,in 8 world title fights Ricky fought 4 ex champs and just beat his mandatory who was a excellent fighter, not bad really on the old record.

Gamboa is one of those boxers who is brilliant depending on who is infront of him. And today he just wasnt troubled by that loser. I reckon he would beat burns UD.

Do me a favour...Gamboa would spark Burns out.
Hearn and team Burns would never sanction that fight especially after nearly having there trousers pulled down by Gonzales...they will go for a moderate fighter then Rees after he beats Crolla.

Yes, and let's be honest it's worth the risk, Imagine taking Gamboa's 0, would set Burns up brilliantly, better than some Friday Night Fights hero on a decent streak.
