Looks very promising.... Anyone know why the long gap between the last fight? He fought last June and has another fight coming up this August.
6ft middleweights are always hard to match. Work commitments could also be contributing to lack of activity
..something to do with a split with George Reno..there's been a few accusations thrown around on Facebook between Reno and Rocky's old man..
I Know Reno his a good guy he wouldn't $uck any fighters careers but said Rocky Jerkic a good talent but was to much of a head case and a drama queen but wished him the best in the future...
I remember Rocky sparring Gealey and Rockys crazy missus running around telling everyone it was a good experience for Daniel and would make him a better fighter
Heard he had dramas with a few trainers up in QLD before he hooked up with Reno. Apparently the same thing happened when he was training with Shane Knox. You can have all the talent in the world but if you don't have it together upstairs it's not gonna happen. Perhaps he should just stick to training with his old man
I think he's at Harry's gym in Perth, can't see Craig putting up with any of that crap. Best bloke Craig looked after me well when I was there, but bull**** he won't take
i remember hearing them introduce rocky in one of his pro fights and said his amateur record was like 98 and 4 . straight away i knew that was a bull**** record , so this does not shock me to hear that the bloke might be a but delusional or full of himself.
Plenty of negative crap being bandied around regarding Rocky. He started boxing at 10yrs old in the amateurs. I believe his fight record to be close to the figures you quoted.
nothing negative at all mate . the reason i know the amateur record was fudged a bit is because i seen him lose at least 6 fights in the ams when he was very young . so maybe after that he won like 60 straight or something .
Rocky is definitely a talent and has a tonne of potential, but your right his amateur record was certainly exaggerated. I know of a quite a few boys that beat him when they were kids fighting in the League so no way he went 98-4 or whatever they were claiming. I'm pretty sure Jarred Fletcher went about 85 - 1 at one stage as a junior and Clay Waterman is something like 71 - 1 at the moment and they had all their fights in the association.
