It's wasn't a statement, it was a question. I seem to have hit a nerve I heard it from a well known figure in the game, if its a lot of shite I apologise but I never made it up.

 

I never claimed anything I said I heared a rumour and asked if it was true.
I agree with everything else you said.

 

If i had a quid for everytime Nelson mentioned 'jealousy' i would be a rich man.

Billy, most of the critism on here has nothing to do with jealousy, its because people like Burns and want to see him fight the best and prove himself.

 

There's a quote on the scene from Abrils promoter saying there's been contact from Morrison about the possibility of the Burns fight.

Just seen the article on the scene about Burns Abril as well .Hopefully would defintley like to see this one .Hard fight but cracking opportunity for Burns .

 

Article on the scene about Vazquez .Could be moving up to 140 but open to a Burns fight in the UK it says .I was buzzing for the last Vazquez bout that fell through .

 

I tell you what disappoints me........is that people are saying Burns shouldn't fight a slickster next.

He went out for his last fight hungry given the out of ring pish etc and naturally is/was feeling big and strong given he wiped out a small issue in Mitchell (I say small issue and understand it was easily a 50/50 on this forum before the bout for most.........but he knew a long time ago how it would be)

Anyways.........the talk of keeping him away from a slickster is balls.....Burns is quite comfy letting them come on to him and he aint known for being a counter puncher.


Also.........I get the impression Burns had to fight the mando......a mando that was previously avoided cause the previous promoter had that kind of pull.

Could be completely wrong and tbh it dosent really matter but to some extent......it shows the experience of his last promoter (would you put your moneymaker in with an unknown banger ?) and Hearn was kinda put on the spot.



Been meaning to let all this loose for a while......kinda.........I only hope it makes sense.
