you can't deny that lara was slowing down and angulo was landing more. if not for that injury, lara would also have quit or gotten ko'd....and i ain't mexican.

lara doesnt suck . who ever thinks that is just stupid. lara fights good fighters, hes got it on wit molina,p will, angulo an vanes. his next fight will be good as well.

Overhyped? Wtf is this guy talking about. Lara has some skills, there is no question about it. He has great movement and one hell of a straight left. He will give anyone a tough fight.

 

People need to remember Lara was in there with a light heavyweight. He was outweighed by ten pounds in the ring. Angulo has some power, Lara showed a chin, and good recuperative abilities. I would still like to see Lara move down to 147. His fighting style, low work rate, and lack of power don't bode well for that weight division. It would be different if he had more power, but he doesn't.

 

No he wasnt if that were the case the commission wouldnt have allowed the fight to go down, Angulo did make the limit I believe and this BS about what a fighter puts on after the weigh in is a ***** made excuse

i dont think lara is in the running for top dog at 154. he has some skill but i think he gets beat by trout, canelo and a faded cotto.
