Lara is the best 154 pounder right now..he just break the skull of a very tought guy who came in insane form applying unstopable pressure but Lara's superior boxing skills make a guy as hard as a nail quit with his face literally broken and all swallowed..I hope Angulo get better, I m concern with the way that he was beaten..no human being could hold those hard left shots for twelve rounds, his chin hold but his bones not so he didn't want to get more punishment and turn his back and said to his corner.."no more"

 

Yo you right man. I'd like to apologize about that comment, i don't usually lose my cool like that but damn man, how can you call Lara a cheater by "thumbing" and headbutting, that was a clean fight. I'm sorry tho, my bad. Bad comment.

 

Lara has been extremely overrated up to now but you got to give him credit
for that performance. Before this fight I considered him a boring and dirty fighter but anyone who can get up from even one KD and wins a fight gets my personal seal of approval. I'm looking forward to his next fight!

 

Angulo had Lara out two times and was hurting him again, then came Lara's thumb. The video will be reviewed and there will probably be a rematch. Alvarez would kill Lara, so would Golovkin and Martinez, not to mention some others....................

He boxed well. He got caught by some huge shots from El Perro, but it happens. Great fight from both men!

 

great south paw boxer, speed , power , defense. i think hes a better boxer then trout and harder puncher. i think hes right up there with the rest of the guys at 154. him and trout could go either way and same for the rest at that weight. i think he stops cotto or beats him clearly.

anyone that takes a fighters fight time weight and tries to translate it into some sort of perverse weight class analogy just shows that he knows nothing of the fight game.

if they can pack on 20+ pounds after the weigh-in without the use of diuretics more power to them

 

angulo took the same punishment from an unknown welterweight on his previous fight, and got away with a gift W on that fight, in fact angulo was supposed to ko that guy who was nothing special, he failed because hes shot...
i really expected more from lara on this fight, like i did on the vanes, i just dont see the masterboxer that others see, thats just my opinion, i respect others..

 

evander was supposed to be shot when he faced Tyson after being kod by bowe.

zab was supposed to be shot after he was kod by khan.

that was vintage angulo Saturday night and he wouldve been a tough out for anyone.

and it was vintage zab against Garcia a month ago.

if you cant see that lara is the real deal after his ko against angulo(the question on lara was his heart and killer instinct) then you are the many here on the esb forums that doesn't know anything of the fight game.
