    :smoke GLEN should be a legend simply for the cool factor . KOed ROY and AVIODED by the ZAKKI ect . The statement HE DISN't THINK he was the BEST but was willing to fight the BEST is classic . My favourite fighter ever since . :deal

    If we take a closer look at Johnsons record at 168 we can further analyse his struggles in the tough as teak 168 division

    - Silvio Branco 38-4-2

    These lists clearly analyse the incredible depth of the 168 era. Whilst Johnson went 32 unbeaten at 160 and beat the likes of Jones,Tarver, Woods, Griffin, and Dawson (in any neutrals mind) at 175, its clear that Johnson was wise to step out of the 168 division when he did to allow him to gain huge American exposure in the hugely overated 175 division.

    In support of Johnson you have to give him huge credit for trying to mix it at 168 and to take Ottke to a reasonably close decision is perhaps in hindsight the best performance of his entire career.

    Because he was old. He sparred with Fred Flintsone damn it. What did you expect? Johnson KO Froch 1? Johnson KO1 Groves? Johnson KO 1 Bute? Ok, maybe the last one could of been possible, but Johnson was born on the same year as Woodstock. A few yrs younger he would be humiliating most of the Super 6.

    You could compare this to Clinton Woods, who was beaten by David Starie and achieved little else at SMW, yet on moving up to LHW he becomes world champ and one of the best in the division

    Could be something to do with a lot of his SMW fights coming after his 41st birthday....

    He racked up a great record at 160 by beating nobody.

    He still couldn't compete with pre-HW Roy at LHW.. Glen would have lost too.

    LHW didn't get weak until the fall of Roy Jones and DM.. You were not gonna get a meaningful belt unless you beat one of the two. You also had plenty of solid fighters on Johnson's level or maybe better as well, as contenders. Johnson would have picked up plenty of losses at LHW fighting there, I think he did anyway.

    So Glen Johnson is a bum, yet this bum totally annihilated and brutally KO'd a fresher, younger and better version Jones than the one who dropped Calzaghe and went the distance with him.

    Yet more self ownage, failure and twisted logic from the Calzaghe cum garglers.

    It shows how much tougher the SMW era was some years back.
    A few years ago, Johnson wasnt able to get near the top 10, this era he beats A Green coming off a loss and was a top 10 SMW, but he just cant compete at SMW, yet at LHW he looked unfortunate to many not to take Dawsons 0
