He fought all the major guys spanning almost two generations of middleweights, and his toughness and old-school ring smarts really exemplified what a "Philly fighter" was all about.

They have quite a list, usually tough guys, Brooklyn also,L.I. Queens,Bronx, and Brockton had Marciano and Hagler, not bad for a small town. funny how certain towns have tough guys..Youngstown,Ohio another one...is it the WATER?
