Can you explain exactly which opponent Trout beat that let you know Trout was a legitimate contender? Was it tiny Cotto? World beater Delvin Rodriguez? No, had to be LoPorto! Right. :blood Was I impressed by the Trout win? Yes. Does it prove much about fighting Mayweather? No. Trout was one of the most unproven at 154. Hell, does it prove much about actually fighting game proven 154 pounders like Lara, Molina, Kirkland, Smith, Andrade, Rosado, etc...? No. Alvarez got hit constantly with the jab. Trout never brought the 2. You think Mayweather wouldn't? Lara? Kirkland? Andrade? Molina? Won't?

Granted, I know you are exaggerating about us giving Alvarez no chance, but you guys are putting a dub on Alvarez' defensive and offensive "genius". Yes, he is good. Yes, he is still not favored. Mayweather fooled you guys because taking this fight sooner rather than later is 100% in FMJ's favor. Alvarez at 25 after fighting the solid guys at 154 and winning would be damned near unbeatable. Beating his green ass now will make him either "ruined by Mayweather" or a "legacy sealer". Jokes on you.

It's more of a money making ploy by Mayweather. Alvarez will weigh in at 154 2 Lbs over the limit. He will have to give over a good chunk of his purse to Mayweather when that happens.

    This is a poor thread.

Its not the Floyd fans that potray this to be an easy fight.

Its the ******s who weeks before the fight was signed said "Floyd wont take the fight, Canelo is too dangerous"

Being a big Floyd fan i expect him to win, but at the same time IMO i think this is his most dangerous fight in a while.

I am actually a little bit worried about this one. There are still so many unanswered questions about Canelo, and this is why there is a chance f an upset.

  6. Ive said that myself, if Floyd fights canelo later he will be even more dangerous. I'm not saying that Trout is on Floyds level but that fight showed us Canelo has a whole different level that nobody really expected. Trout missed plenty in the canelo fight

  7. If he hits Floyd anywhere I'm sure its not going to help Floyd. Canelo has power. And what happens if PBF hurts his hand :nono
