Recent interview by ifilm with Eddie.

Eddie mentions his interest in a domestic tournament at lightweight

Mitchell, Matthews, Rees, Crolla, Coyle, Sykes and Flannagan.

    Any thoughts?

Would be a much better idea than rolling out prizefighter after prizefighter.

  2. I think this was a good idea but now we will have had crolla Matthews 2,Sykes crolla 2,Mitchell Murray, crolla Rees, coyle Matthews plus flannigan in the mix for his prizefighter with matthews

Great idea but I think it's sailed what about super feather

Buckland Walsh Stephen smith foster jnr crolla? Sykes Simpson truscott Appleby Lindsay

All the above can make that weight well and are evenly matched

Never going to happen, unfortunately. Too many promoters will dissaprove.

For me Rees and Mitchell are a level above the rest.

cant believe no one followed on with the super six across different weight divisions took its sweet ass time like but it was very intresting imo,
makes boxing more intresting and makes more 50 50 fights than you normally get

I agree that a lot of fighters have been omitted, I purely mentioned the names that Hearn threw into the mix in the interview.

From what I have read he has been given the thumbs up by the docs to return to the ring but as to when this will happen I don't know

  14. I'm sure arnie farnell mentioned on here he is training with him,as joe is there as well I guess
At the moment probaly building up fitness he is not meant to be the best liver and he was sidelined indefinitely so hopefully be out soon for a tune up
If it all goes well I'm hoping for a Mitchell rematch

Definetly John Murray in there somewhere, Scott Harrison too if he has afterall avoided the jail. Good fights around the lightweight division domestically.
