McGuigan was in control in the first half of the fight, and despite the tenth was still seemingly going on to win coming into the 15th. That is hardly Cruz looking unbeatable...

Did you see that cut? Hagler was in severe danger.

Hagler at his seemingly unbeatable best, was against Sibbo IMO.

Before my time so only watched it back rather than seeing it live, but Ali v Cleveland Williams was nigh on punch perfect

Calzaghe v Prime Kessler..........perfect performance against a tough opponent. Calzaghe was just too good.

I think Ward would have beaten him that night. Then he fights a faded Kessler next and it could have went either way imo.

That night no matter who was in front of CF, he would have won

On a domestic level I always thought the way Gomez tore through AAA was very impressive. I thought at the time that no-one domestically would touch Gomez.

Although the way Calzaghe turned the fight around was very impressive and worthy of a lot of the laudits bestowed upon him, up until the 6/7th round he was shipping a lot from Mikkel (in particular he was caught with many hurtful uppercuts through the middle).
Calzaghe/Lacy on the other hand is a good shout.

With regards to Floyd fight, despite him looking impressive against Aturo, I always remember the Corrales fight as a notible point to which people stood up and took notice. He took Diego (33-0)apart in only his 24th fight making the 7th defence of his 130lb WBC title

Hamed vs. Robinson - Hamed was awesome. Felt sorry for Robinson - very brave but simply out classed and out gunned. Hamed looked unbeatable that night.

That was no ones fault other than Toney's. Part of being a great fighter is looking after yourself outside the ring too. That was a big weakness of James'.

It was poor manners of Toney to bring it up post fight. Jones was the star after that, it was a time that Toney should of reflected on what he needed to do, to get back to the very top. Number one was not whine about being thrashed, fair and square.
