Spoke to Larry today, he's really excited about his fight on June 29. He was pretty pissed off at the hypocritical fans who don't say nothing about the likes of Shane Mosley and James Toney yet continue to call him a scumbag.

So he's a scumbag yet wee Craig Windsor isn't? Seems idiots are more upset at the supposed grassing than the actual PED use.
The fact he was banned for four years was a joke in itself. How long was Antonio Margarito banned for? What about Shane Mosley? James Toney? Lamont Peterson? Andre Berto? It's fine for those to continue their careers but scumbag Larry should be made an example of:verysad

  3. Well I'm dissapointed he has got the barefaced cheek to complains about fans opinions of his blatant drug use
He should shut his mouth and plead acceptance,no one says he is the only guilty boxer active or otherwise, but we are in Britain and that's it's relevance to this forum and others.mosley and toney don't fight on these shores if they did I suspect a different opinion would be based on them
Enzo macs reputation was harmed massively and he swears it was a honest error but listen to enzo calzaghes opinion on him now

    Larry is not a victim

He isn't and he's never claimed to be on. Larry never once went to the authorites about Craig Windsor or any other boxer. They went to him after already having info on Craig. He knows he made a terrible mistake and just wants a second chance, the same second chance that has been given to so many other boxers.

    That's how a 12 year old thinks.

Taking PEDs in boxing could get someone killed.

    Yes, you should grass!

  6. Sorry that's just my way and it always will be

I know a lot of men who have the same belief who you certainly wouldn't accuse of acting like a 12 year old,it's just they are principled

Based on the number and variety of drugs Larry was using it appears he has a long history and understanding of drug use. For this he should be banned for life.

Being a grass is the nail in the coffin of his boxing career.

Terrorists that slaughter innocent civilians may be "principled". But have the wrong principle...

Imagine someday you lose a family member in a hit and run drink driving 'accident'. I guess you wouldn't want anyone to grass them up as that just wouldn't be principled...

That's a bit different than grassing up fellow athletes so he could get a reduced ban. He appears to have got benefit from grassing. Larry looks to have been a much heavier user than any I have ever read about in all of sport yet he gets a one year ban. This is what is annoying.

Whether you care to admit it nobody likes a grass. The only way Larry earns anything out of boxing is as a hate figure that people want to see smashed to pieces.

Two different things here. Whether it's good to grass, and how we judge people depending on their motivation.

Of course, if a criminal grasses to get himself a lighter sentence, we wouldn't think that they are a particularly good person for doing that because they act out of self interest. But still, the act itself is generally a good thing.

" A mother has said she has no regrets about reporting her sons to the police after learning they had brutally attacked a man on a night out.

Carol Saldinack, 51, of Norfolk, said she was so ashamed of their behaviour she could barely look them in the eye.

But if she kept quiet, she would be as guilty as they were, she told the BBC.

Luke Newman, 27, and Oliver Clark, 24, were jailed for two years for their part in the attack on Marc Parkinson, which left him blind in one eye."

    ********news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7427624.stm

Plenty of people would admire her for what she did.

If they increase endurance, then that could be enough to get someone killed. (More solid blows landed.)

But anyway, what evidence do you have for that?
