Do you see Cleverly taking this fight? He has not taken anything remotely high profile. He even avoided Uzelkov, at least Shumenov fought him in one of his three non descript title defenses.

Nice to see this division picking up it seems like Kovalev will be S.O.L if he cannot get Cleverly. Probably end up with Glen Johnson. Actually if he cannot get a title fight that would not the worst thing in the World.

If he keeps succeeding like he has been and can make some more $$$ for himself, he certainly won't be the last one to make the jump.

Although whenever I hear about Russian fighters who relocate here, I always find myself thinking: What the hell ever happened to Matt Korobov?:think

At least he has not wound up dead like Sergey Kobozev!

On a side note: Lomachenko and Uysk sure are taking their time announcing their pro intentions. I am starting to think the next thing we will hear is thay are both preparing for the upcoming WC's in Astana(November).

Kovalev is a monster. One of the best LHW prospects I have seen it quite some time. This guy is going to walk through the division.

    Fuk me Kov's good.

I thought White would be a decent challenge. But those Kovalev bombs!
I had it going through to 6 or 7, White was never gonna get the W since he got gunshy, but I thought he'd be able to hold his own.

I'd kinda half convinced myself not to expect too much cos Campillo wasn't on top form when Kov battered him - but it coulda been a replay. 3 KDs for TKO3.

TKO3s the place to be. You could see right from the start what those punches were doing to White - he was shook up from the word go. Just a matter of time. The only thing is I still don't know how Kov will fight on the back foot. Don't know about his stamina, his chin. I wanna see how he's gonna do under pressure.

But for now, fukkit, I'm just looking forward to his next fight. Along with Golovkin and Matthyse my favourite fighter. You know you're gonna have fireworks when any of them get in the ring.

Ward would beat him. Although he can fight on the inside, I noticed he cannot fight going backwards. I except Ward to muscle him backwards, counter his left. He is also very open to the jab, Ward would demolish this guy.

It's not so much his bombs as his combos. He is a very good combination puncher.

Who was the last guy that Ward demolished who wasn't weight drained? Boone knocked Ward down, straightened his legs up, with a stray uppercut. What would Kovalev's power punches do to Ward?

Ward will not fight him. Kovalev will encounter problems finding fights. Hopkins will duck him also. A fight with Adonis is THE fight to make.
