This is why I still post on here sometimes.

Top Post though Taylor is a better win that Veit all day long.

Pretty much all the rest of it I go along with.

    Top man!!!

What I said there is the truth. None of Froch's wins match JC's victories over Hopkins, Prime Kessler, Lacy or Eubank.

    I wouldn't say that!

  4. Agree mate

Froth and Kessler both 2nd rate fighters and will never be remembered at the same level as Calzaghe etc

I like both Froch & Calzaghe, but this opinion bugs me..

Just exactly how is Froch's resume 'far' better? It isn't.

    Great post by bailey!

Froch is a really solid champion I like him a lot, Calzaghe is the best for me. Froch should be humble about groves/degale/cleverly calling him out as that is exactly what he did to calzaghe - was making too much noise than those 3.

I think so too. He gets so much credit for fighting guys like Dirrell, Johnson, Abraham etc. but how are they any better than guys like Bika, Woodhall, Veit, Brewer, Mitchell etc.

It's a pity that Joe hid out in a dormant division for over a decade, when there was great fights that he could've made elsewhere.

He didnt even fight the long standing no 1 in that shitty 168lb divison, his "title run" was a complete fraud for that decade. His claim to have "beat 9 world champions" is also hilarious.

Jeff Lacy and Kessler are the only 2 current champions he beat in the ring.

    What a waste of talent.

  11. This argument is beyond ****ing boring

Please move on,they are/were great fighters who never met so stop wasting your precious time and move on

Froch is not overrated, if anything he is Underrated, nearly every fight he was expected to lose, Taylor and Abraham we supposed to beat his ass as was Bute.

He is defiantly not overrated, people say his boxing skills are crude he keeps his hands low, his defence is ****, he's slow ,yet they guy keeps winning ? in terms of boxing skill Froch is underrated.

I agree though he probably wouldn't of beat Calzaghe , but who knows this is boxing and anything we say about fantasy matches is just speculation.

But Carl Froch is defiantly not overrated and that is a fact, his heart and his chin have made up for what he lacks in boxing skills.

    Joe was unbeaten...

Froch's best win is over a shot Kessler

Joe handed Kessler his 1st loss and then Ward finished the job allowing Froch easy pickings, Froch lost to Kessler in the 1st fight.

Actually he beat Bernard when he was the lineal champion as well so that's 3. How many defending champions has Carl Froch beaten? Oh yeah that's right 0
