Broner is a classless fool, but for some reason ,the yanks seem to lap that up.

If you look at their 3 most takented fighters today, you would probably say Mayweather, Andre Ward and then Broner. Both Mayweather and Broner are classless, hateful figures, while Ward, on the other hand is the polar opposite. A classy individual thats always very respectful of his opponents, but just look how he's treated in America compared to the other two.

as for the fight. I thought it was really close. I wouldnt complain if Broner won the fight 7-5, but that 9-3 scorecard was outrageous, no way was it that far. Even more annoyingly was both Bunce and that other numpty from Boxnation reckoned it could have even been as wide as 10-2. What the **** where they smoking.

I think its evident though that the GoldenBoy fighters are definetly protected by the refs, its as plain as day. The only time one of their fighters got a fair fight was the Khan vs Peterson fight, and we saw how GoldenBoy threw their toys out of the pram after that one.

I hope all these Mayweather comparisons stop now, Broner is far too easy to hit and his work rate is abysmal. You really have to question why him and his team chose Paulie if he just wanted to coast along trying to nick the rounds throwing 1 or 2 shots, he said before the fight 'I'm gonna knock him the **** out' but I didn't see him try to do that except with his knee. I think there will be fighters at both 140 and 147 queuing up to have a pop at him now. Well done to Paulie but I always knew he would give it a good go which is why he is respected in boxing.

I only see Mayweather in Broners personality, and the way he carry's himself. Broner fights more like James Toney than Mayweather, but a poorer version of him.

Broner didn't carry the power up the weights. I would fancy Khans chances against Broner, that fights 50/50.

Funny how all the Broner fan boys have changed your tune. Always said this guy was no star, no wonder hes been so protected. Even whilst Golden boy have been protecting him he should have a few losses on his record. Hes a piece of **** aswell.

Khan's chin will get him into trouble against Broner.

The judge who scored the fight 9-3 clearly had his mind made up whto was gonna win even before the first bell went.

The commentry was infuriating, bought and paid for garbage. A paulie combo followed by a single broner jab that doesn't even land - 'nice left hand there by broner.' These clowns couldn't make it any more obvious if they tried.

Also, fight was pretty much dead even for me. A point either way and I wouldn't complain. People need to be made aware that awkwardly lumbering forward in a poor mayweather imitation whilst making a ridiculous face that resembles a baggy scrotum and not throwing any punches doesn't win fights. Or at least it doesn't when Al Haymon isn't about.

However, paulie was slightly frustrating last night too. If only he could have put the sting into his punches that he did against senchenko he would have won that fight last night.

:good Khan also fights like a ******. he would more than likely jump into something big after dominating with his speed.
Pauli said Broner didnt hit hard at all tho. I know Pauli's teak tough but it seems like Broner didn't carry the power up to Welter.

He shook Paulie up a few times and Paulie may not hit hard but he is as tough as they come with a real good chin. I think Broner clowned around to much disrespecting Paulie forgetting that Paulie is tough and not that easy to stop. Broner whilst not impressive and frankly I don'T care much for him either I would say has a much better performance level in him.

The commentary was shocking, the best one was when Malignaggi caught Broner with a 3 shot combo (didn't do damage but landed) and then Broner catches Malignaggi with a jab that glances him and then misses with his next 2 shots and the commentators go "Great 3 shot combo by Broner"

Pathetic behaviour. Two pricks clearly on the payrole.

Broners footwork's the problem, he just doesnt look good against movers. His performance levels go up when he faces guys who stand in front of him, like Demarco did.

Pretty much agree with all of that. Apart from the middle spell where paulie took a bit of a breather, all of the rounds were close. I was watching with a casual fan and kept having to explain that even though there was no power in Paulie's punches they still counted and that the commentary was ridiculously one-sided. Also, paulie was the hometown fighter, there was absolutely no way broner was doing enough, even in the rounds he won, for the decision to be a foregone conclusion. I pretty much celebrated the announcement of a split decision, as I was starting to think my mate thought I dksab
