I'd be very confident in picking Matthysse over Broner. When I look at the top guys at those weights, I don't see many guys I'd favour Broner over. At 147 in particular, the bottom of the top 10 has guys like Ortiz, Maidana and Thurman - I could slightly favour Broner over Maidana but after that? I'd have him as the underdog versus Bradley, Alexander and obviously the likes of JMM or Floyd.

At 140, Khan could give him a lot of problems, with the obvious caveat of his chin.

You said Paulie didn't get dropped, he has and i pointed it out also other fighters beat him much easier.

If Broner had amazing Power at 147 why didn't he show it vs Paulie?, perfect chance to seeing that there is no danger in getting knocked out in return. Khan was super aggressive vs Paulie because he knew Paulie couldn't break his glass.

Broner didn't shine last night, its made a lot of people sour on him, maybe it will be good for him as expectations might be lowered now.

Maybe he will look better vs a Maidana/Lucas power puncher;, Maybe he gets exposed and gets stopped. I want to find out.

why are the excuses starting again for broner? after ponce outboxed him, his enablers started saying he was young then and he has improved so much since then that he is a completely different fighter. i saw the same fighter trying to finish off a washed up malignaggi, that i saw geting outclassed by ponce, who is no master boxer. just face it, broner is not special at all, just another fighter with more mouth than fight in him.

he was also rumored to have been knocked out by spence in sparring.

gbp is not going to allow this guy to go anywhere near the top guys at ww.

Yes Broner is still good talent is there for all to see for me the problem he is moving up too quickly.

For all his skills he has flaws which need addressed and tbh needed addressed before he moved up in weight

So Broner was toying with him? What happened to the brutal ko Broner said he was gonna give Paulie? Listen, If Broner wants to be the best of his generation than he needed to beat Paulie down badly. Think of the talk that would had accured if he ko'd Paulie or gave him a beating ala Cotto. But you saying he was just toying with him? :patsch

and so what does that mean? somehow he cant beat nobody else?? Just Retire now!?!?! :patsch:patsch

Maybe it was good for him to get a SD. Now all you guys hate him even more and guess what??? More fans and more fans keep atching to hopefully see him lose. Now when he KO Maidana in 6 people will be like :well his cheery picked, Maidana sucks anyways. he needs to fight Floyd or Pacquiao or or or or"

    Just a bunch of crap
