There's been talks with Lucas Matthysse but supposedly word is Garcia is asking for a ridiculous amount of money to take the fight. Now on twitter there's articles being posted that Judah may get another shot at Garcia.
Judah admitted at the Broner/Paulie presser that Scahefer had spoken to him about the possibility of a rematch with Garcia
I dont like Garcia but I would give him a lot of respect win or lose if he took the fight with Lucas I have a feeling he will duck though he knows what comin
I would prefer Judah to fight Peterson & Alvarado to fight Olusegan with the winners to face off with each other
That is a joke if true Judah was reasonably decent towards the end of their last fight when the fight was already lost but all that shows is that garcia is nothing special. Judah doesn't deserve a rematch and I will say now that if Garcia ducks Matthyse then he should be stripped, can't call yourself number 1 and shamelessly duck number 2. Either way you look at it a unification with Matthyse makes more money than a rematch with Judah it's just that Garcia is prang of being laid spark out by the monstrous punching Matthyse and knows he'll probably lose his belts! They should order it or strip him, sick of his idiot father too the sooner someone sparks him and knocks his old man off his high horse the better, which is a shame as Garcia seems alright. Aside from wearing appalling floral patterned t shirts.
Hopefully they are just rumours. Garcia and Matthyse have cleared the path at 140, time to know who the true number 1 really is.
Maybe he's just holding out for a better purse, we could see him fight Peterson first maybe and he will just try and slip in another defence before taking the risky fight with Matthyse. I hope so anyway, this fight has to happen this year. Judah wouldn't make as much money and no one wants to see it so why bother unless you're trying to swerve Matthyse ?
