What was your first pro show ?

Mine was the 27.6.89 - The Royal Albert Hall. This Londoner who won Super HW gold for Canada was making his professional debut. I took one of my casual friends along

Six fights, chief support was a British title eliminator and we moan about cards now.

 

It was in the terrestrial era, thus it was billed and built up as a 'one fight' bill. But the McAuley footage helped build up the first Bassa fight.

It was raining, cold, the public kept repeating the same two chants over and over again and the fight was a bust. I only go to small hall bouts from now on.
