vomit? but wouldn't that makes your clothes smell all funny? i know you'd be dead, but you could be wearing your Sunday best. lots of people are willing to wear a dead mans clothes...... but not if they smell of vomit.
See, I think the ATG iron chinned Hagler has a better chance against Jones than Hearns does... I just see Jones finding Hearns' chin very early.. With Hagler, he had a great southpaw jab, was very durable and could punch.. I have trouble giving anyone with shaky whiskers a chance against those versions of Roy, just for the way Roy would hit with full power at all kinds of angles and punches with superhuman reflexes... I think Roy beats Hagler, but I like Hagler's chances better than Hearns.. You have to get in the LHW class before I tell you Roy has a good chance of losing. I don't pick against Calzaghe lightly either.. I think he troubles everyone at 160-168, even Roy... But Roy would win.:yep
i just see Roy thinking twice about getting too close to Hearns due to that reach. one shot and it's over. how does Jones get round it? does he dip in centre ring and risk Hearns stepping in and landing a big shot? i don't think he would. i see Jones moving off the back foot and being straight up. no dipping, no bending at the waist. i can't see him lunging with that left hook either. it just spells huge risk. Hagler is a southpaw, but he isn't a tricky one. he has very good power, but he's not what you call a big puncher. he does have a great chin though. Hagler is too out of sorts when closing someone down, which is what Jones would force him to do a lot of if he wants some success. Jones has it covered here. the other times would be spent in centre ring, a bit like he did with Toney, and take it nice and easy. he'd make sure he stayed on top where points are concerned. can't see the jab of Hagler being of much use either. Jones would keep it long and use his speed. nah, i can't see it myself. i even have Jones beating one of my favorite fighters in Carlos Monzon. even though i think it's Blasphemous to put Jones in the same sentence as Monzon. but H2H, Jones would have that. Monzon has the long reach just like Hearns did, but he doesn't have that crushing one punch power. boring fight with Jones winning clearly on points. whereas Jones would be intimidated by Hearns' power and would not be having the connect rate that he usually did. :good
I thought you no boxing assasin.... No one would ever beat hearns by decision... Hearns is the ****in goat
atsch so you think you won the argument based on me not responding? :huh i've already said a few times what the situation was. why keep on saying it? get back to doing what you're doing, and i'll get back to ignoring you. :good
i picked Hearns to beat Jones. but lots of fighters would have beaten Hearns either by stoppage or decision. edit: i didn't make it clear enough, but i was talking about Jones winning wide in a boring fight against Hagler. Hearns presents a different style and brings more problems to the table. therefore i see a Hearns win by stoppage.
My apologies...i read it wrong and thought u said hearns instead of hagler.. I don't think any1 in history ud's the hitman...yr only slim very very slim chance is to ko him...but 9/10 times he ko u 1st.... Hagler destroys roid boy as well
Oh I don't think I won the argument, I KNOW that I won the argument. :good With regards to a Hopkins a rematch, it's laughable to say that he deserved 50/50. It took him two attempts to get the IBF belt that Roy had vacated. It was a very good/great win against Trinidad, but compare that to what Roy had done. Roy had beaten Hopkins, Malinga, Tate, Toney, Griffin, Hill, and Reggie Johnson. He was the unified 175 champ in his 3rd weight class. He was also considered the best fighter in the world. Yet you think Hopkins deserved 50/50? Based on WHAT??
