He was absolutely dead at the weight by the time of the Foster and Cook fights. He beat Gogoladze, Sergey Gulyakevich, Ricky Burns, Boris Sinitsin, Stephen Foster Jnr, Willie Limond and Craig Docherty, not the sort of wins an average fighter would put together.

He wasn't the best fighter at his weight, but I don't think of him as a worse title holder than say Rocky Martinez or Argenis Mendez are at Super-Featherweight currently.

 at least on other forums trolls have a bit of dece banter. You and that other c*nt Solaris are about as funny as aids. calling people fat and basically just repeating yourselves over and over is not voicing opinions. Sad pricks

Alex was a excellent fighter who just fell short of world title level, the fact he had so many coaches wouldn't have helped IMO, shame he never stepped up to the mark to fight Ricky again at SFW or LW but he can now live off the fact he beat a two weight champ when Ricky was 21.
But he will need to live with the fact Ricky has archived far more in his career as well

Rubbish,he had some good fights and some good wins. He was not a bad fighter at all.
Good luck to him in his retirement.

I think people would think more highly of him if he'd never been WBO champion.

If he'd been domestic and European class, and then drifted out of boxing the way that he has, he'd be remembered more fondly.

As it is, he doesn't help himself with some of the things he's said, both about his own career and also other fighters, which can rub fans up the wrong way.

Realistically the game was up when he lost to Nicky Cook, a fighter he'd have handled with relative ease at his best.... the defeat to Nigel Wright was the final nail in the coffin.

Not sure about that, IMO he was above European level and just below world level so a short term paper champion is about right.

A lot of boxing fans hold resentment for guys who become undeserved 'world champion' but as long as they make no wild claims to be the GOAT or anything it doesn't bother me.

He's not the only fighter to be found out when stepping up a level, I won't hold it against him

    1. I am not your "mate". I have a strict policy whereby I refuse to befriend boz eyed tranny queens. :deal

    2. In contrary to your misinformed belief that I reside in a tent, I actually live in a beautiful house in sunny contintental Europe, whereas I am wholly convinced that you must live in one of those disgusting London grey hovels they call "flats", surrounded by hoodlums, degenerates and tag-wearing reprobrates.:oops::dead

Now, one more peep out of you and I ,and the rest of the Team Elite generals, will consign you to ESB history.:vonnecunt

  14. Team Elite General on a boxing forum - the pinnacle of one's ambitions

You could not afford to live in London and do you really think I give a **** about being banned from a forum FFS

Probably working abroad as a trainee knicker snatcher in Romania
